Hi there! If you’re looking for a dog care experience that stands out from the rest, you’re in good hands.

I’m Angela, owner of Devonport Dog Adventures. We don’t just "let dogs loose"—we provide a structured environment where dogs build essential skills to thrive. Through tailored training and careful pack integration, every adventure is safe, healthy, and deeply fulfilling for your best friend.

Having owned and operated Wild At Heart Dog Adventures for five years before taking the reins at Devonport Dog Adventures in 2026, I bring over seven years of professional handling experience across all breeds, ages, and temperaments. My approach is grounded in formal education and an uncompromising commitment to safety:

• B.AppSci in Animal Management & Welfare: Science-based insights ensuring your dog's physical and emotional well-being.

• Pet First Aid Certified: Your pup’s safety is always my top priority.

• PDWA Member: Proud member adhering to the strict code of conduct of the Professional Dog Walkers Association.

• Auckland Council Approved: Registered walker #99995.

Our Services:
Servicing solely the Devonport area, our adventures operate on a weekly commitment. This routine builds consistent habits and helps strong, lasting friendships form within our packs.

Both main services include convenient pick-up and drop-off in our fully air-conditioned vans:

Farm Adventures: Held at our spacious, fully fenced farm location where dogs engage in natural behaviors—sniffing, running, and socializing safely with like-minded companions.

Adventure Packwalks: Structured on- and off-lead adventures primarily set in Riverhead Forest. Designed with training at the forefront, these walks satisfy your dog's physical and mental needs alongside balanced pack mates.

Exclusive Member Boarding: Available exclusively to our regular pack members, ensuring your dog stays in a familiar, loving environment surrounded by dogs they already know.

Our Origins:

Devonport Dog Adventures was founded in 2022 by qualified dog trainer Karli to offer an elevated alternative to traditional commercial daycares. When Karli hung up her leads in 2026, I was honored to step in and continue building on the exceptional foundation, care, and dedication she established.
